TSN is reporting that Hedican will replace Kings defenseman Aaron Miller on Team USA as Miller has some kind of nagging injury.  For those of you that don't know, TSN is the Canadian equivalent of ESPN.

They're also reporting that Canes forward Matt Cullen will be on the taxi squad.  So the Hurricanes will be sending Erik Cole (USA), Doug Weight (USA), Bret Hedican (USA), Martin Gerber (Switzerland), and Frank Kaberle (Czech Republic) to Turin to play for their countries.  Plus, Eric Staal (Canada) and Matt Cullen (USA) will be in Turin as well on their respective taxi squads, which means they'll get to play if someone gets injured.
