Thanks in large part to last night's #1 star, Craig Adams, the Carolina Hurricanes rebounded from a 0-2 deficit to score 5 straight goals and hold on for the win, 5-3. Adams had 2 goals and an assist and is now half way to his career high of 18 points. Only that year, he was also -10 on the ice and so far this year he is +8. That's probably due in part to the fact that the 2005-2006 Carolina Hurricanes are a much better team than the 2002-2003 Carolina Hurricanes were.
I hate it when Carolina plays on Tuesday nights because that's when I bowl (I got a 247 last night!). I did get to listen to most of the last 10 minutes of the game. I have not yet watched the replays on TV so I don't know what the goals looked like.
Carolina took only two penalties last night. Attendance was a meager 11,340 - and I'll be there weren't even that many people there, but i heard the crowd was loud once Carolina started scoring.
The Columbus Blue Jackets are up next with Sergei Federov coming into town. Is he still with Anna Kournikova?
GO CANES!
